The lighting (i.e. the sun) should have been better so I may try again another day but these don't look too bad for nothing but a kit lens. I guess not having replaced the bedroom windows when we did the rest of the house has some advantages LOL.

Inspired by some photos I saw at the photo group meeting, here is the view from my bedroom window (as with all the photos, click to enlarge them)
