The River is a Risin'

This morning, when I drove the kids to school, this road was above water.

By three o'clock this afternoon, it was submerged and the homeowner that lives there must park just off the highway and walk to his house.





Within a day or two, he may need a boat.




Part of my weekday routine most days is to pick the little ones up at their school in the next town and then carry on to the city to pick up the teenager.

Here is what my route looked like today.




I guess we will be taking the scenic route for a few weeks.
