Watching the river

Although our little town is safe from flooding, we are still keeping our eyes on the river as our travels to and from the city could be impacted by the rising waters. This could make back and forths to school a bit more of a challenge.

Already some signs are up and the crest is not expected for more than a week.



As much as we are anxious for spring weather, a slow thaw will lessen the impact to all so I guess we can endure these wintery temps a little longer. Sigh...

Tonight is the wonderful Red Tent gathering. We will celebrate the spring equinox and contemplate "rebirth and renewal".

Still icy highways but at least the sun was out today.
