March 6th & 7th -- Scenes from the Interstate(s)

I write this from a hotel...the third in as many nights...this time in Sioux City Iowa. We have been travelling since Thursday morning and we are all a little road weary.

And yet, even with driving hard and sticking to the interstate highways (no time for the meandering sight seeing that we would like to do), there is beauty to be seen and photographed.

Whether city sky lines...

Or the various rest stop or hotel oases (did you know that is how to spell the plural of oasis? I had to look it up :o)

We wouldn't really want to travel any other way. There is too much we would miss.

Tomorrow, we will be home...
