Memory Lane

One of the highlights of our vacation for me was our stop in Vancouver.

This was where my hubby and I spent the first (almost) year of our married life. It was where we lived our pre-baby married life, where our first baby was conceived, where we used to joke that we had our 9 month long honeymoon. It was just us, two newly-wed twenty-somethings.

It was a lifetime ago.

This trip brought us back. We showed the kids where we lived, where we worked, where we hung out.

This was our corner...

Our apartment building...

Stanley Park...

My tree hugging family...

It took six of us to reach our arms all the way around this magnificent tree!

The Bear and the Girlie

A rare picture of the teenager with a sibling...not even scowling!

The whole gang!!

Love this one

We lived only a few blocks from the market and both worked there. I love it here!

Watching the buskers

A magic show! (Look at the little man... He couldn't be more excited!)

The produce....

I miss this place!

We also lived just a few blocks away from Kits Beach so we, of course, had to pay a visit there too. Here they all are! The six most important people in my life.

Much has changed for us since that long ago life in Vancouver...and as much as I love and miss the west coast, I am certain we would not have the family we do had we stayed...
...and I wouldn't change a thing!
