Daddy's Little Girl

This little girl LOVES her daddy and in an effort to set the bar for any potential future boyfriends VERY high, her daddy semi-regularly brings her flowers (don't worry...whenever she gets some, I do too :)

As the only two girls in the house, he spoils us every once in a while. Who am I to complain?

Future suitors...look out! This amazing girl will not be the one who coyly orders nothing but a salad at dinner. She is a carnivore through and through...it will likely be surf and turf for her :) And you had bettter bring her flowers...and treat her nicely as she has four brothers that are looking out for her.

(Poor girl will likely not have a date for a long, l o n g time :)

Phew! I am finding this quite a challenge. Not the TAKING a picture a day part, but the posting part of the challenge. Lots to catch up on again.

An attempt to capture a pic of the black eye that the girlie got at school this week. It is actually much more purple now so I may take an updated picture yet.

One of my favorite places. I finally managed to get there to pick up some wonderful herbs for the pots on my front step. Yum!

All a Blur...

The last little bit of Spring Break flew by in a blur so here is a long overdue catch up post.

Thursday, April 2nd was spent at a friends...playdate for the kids and tea and conversation for the moms.

And tonight, Tuesday April 7th, hubby made sweet and sour ribs. They are a big hit around here so I thought I'd share a few pics.

None of these are "technically" very good (poor lighting, too much background crap and the weird color cast from our red curtains) but they do show the kids love of ribs!
